This area is absolutely awful. Albuquerque is the biggest nest of crime in the state. If you go to Old Town or to Central Ave. by the university, make sure you are packing a weapon or have a securit… Full review by jwatersfam

Central Avenue is trying to clean up its act, but crime, including violent crime remains a significant problem. It's also not the most attractive of downtown areas compared to many other cities. Full review by montanapescado
