Despite a WNBA playoff crunch the Fever's approach to Caitlin Clark’s recovery remains the same: They’re focused on her long-term health.

Hopefully, some good news comes out about Clark's progress and a potential return date. For now, ESPN's projected return date of August 26 is something to take note of as a possible glimmer of hope for Indiana. Next up for the Fever will be a Sunday afternoon matchup on the road against the Connecticut Sun.

Following Sunday's contest, the Fever will have an extended break. They won't return to action until Aug. 22, when they'll return home to take on the first-place Minnesota Lynx. The team, and perhaps Clark, will have much-needed practice time during that period. Still, it remains unclear when she'll return to practice, let alone games.
