The coffee was sold in 47 states and Puerto Rico between July 9 and July 21. Dollar General didn't say how many containers were included in the three lots of coffee that were distributed, or how many were sold before the recall went out.

In compliance with the FDA, Dollar General is recalling three lots of Clover Valley Instant Coffee from 48 states over the potential presence of glass.

Dollar General is voluntarily recalling instant coffee that has the potential to have glass in it. According to a U.S. Food & Drug Administration announcement, Clover Valley Instant Coffee is being recalled after a customer notified Dollar General of the possible issue.
