Metallica and Guns N' Roses paid tribute to Black Sabbath at Ozzy Osbourne's 'Back to the Beginning' finale concert on Saturday.

Bev Bevan explores the origins of heavy metal music and Black Sabbath's homecoming gig, with interviews and music from Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Slipknot. As the music stops, fireworks go off above Villa Park as the founders of heavy metal bow out of their unbelievable career.

The full lineup, which kicked off at 1 p.m. BST, featured an all-star cast of performers. Alongside Black Sabbath, the day also saw performances from Metallica, Slayer, Guns N' Roses, Tool, Pantera, Anthrax and more.
