HOUSTON – Firefighters are at the scene of a fire at an apartment complex on the northwest side of Houston Tuesday evening. The fire is located at 2703 Teague Road. Video shot from Beltway 8 by KPRC 2’s Bryce Newberry shows a plume of smoke off in the distance from the fire.

A three-alarm fire was burned at an apartment building near Kempwood and Gessner Tuesday night. Dozens of firefighters were still working to control the fire. Two firefighters were transported to the hospital.

An overnight crash and fire involving a FedEx 18-wheeler still had the eastbound lanes of US 290 near the Grand Parkway closed Tuesday morning.
