Grammy Award-winning rapper Lil Durk pleaded not guilty to federal charges stemming from an alleged murder-for-hire conspiracy near the Beverly Center two years ago.

Durk Devontay Banks pleaded "not guilty" in a Los Angeles courtroom where he was arraigned Thursday on charges accusing him of hiring people to kill a rival rapper.

Grammy Award-winning rapper Lil Durk pleaded not guilty Thursday in downtown Los Angeles to federal charges stemming from an alleged murder-for-hire conspiracy that resulted in a man’s death near the Beverly Center two years ago.

The rapper, whose real name is Durk Banks, released a song that “sought to commercialize” the shooting that targeted Quando Rondo and killed his cousin, Saviay’a Robinson, according to an indictment filed last week.
