Houston Fire Department firefighters could be seen battling the flames off the Gulf Freeway in the afternoon. SkyEye also flew over the complex, which suffered significant damage due to the flames.

The fire was at a home on Botany Lane near Leitrim Way in the Cloverland neighborhood. HFD said they first got the call at around 12:30 a.m.
