President Trump met with Indian leader Narendra Modi, who has praised him in hopes of avoiding tariffs the administration slapped on other countries.

The series of agreements emerged after talks between President Trump and Prime Minister Modi at the White House, just hours after Trump railed against the climate for U.S. businesses in India.

President Trump greeted the Indian Prime Minister at the White House with a bear hug and called him “a great friend of mine.”
