The Dallas Cowboys have officially been eliminated from NFL playoff contention, but remain far out of the cellar in the NFC East.

The Philadelphia Eagles became the first repeat NFC East champion in 20 years with their 29-18 win over Washington on Saturday.

The Eagles’ fifth straight to the playoffs ties a team record that was initially achieved during the Reid era from 2000 through 2004. The Eagles went into halftime trailing 10-7 after three missed field goals by kicker Jake Elliott, including a 43-yarder at the end of a 12-play drive that would have put the Eagles up 10-3.
