The Powerball jackpot has surged to its biggest amount this year, reaching an estimated $605 million for Monday night's drawing.
More than 1 million other Powerball tickets sold in the United States also won prizes ranging from $4 to $150,000, the lottery said.

The South Carolina Education Lottery said the Powerball jackpot continues to grow as the largest jackpot in 2025. According to the Lottery, Monday night’s drawing totals up to $605 million after there wasn’t a winner on Saturday night.
While nobody won the Powerball grand prize in the most recent drawing, someone who bought a ticket in the Palmetto State was one number away from collecting a $565 million jackpot, according to South Carolina Education Lottery officials.
