A major US winter storm is causing chaos in the South, resulting in over 3,000 canceled flights and power outages.

A ground stop until 2 p.m. was issued for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport by the Federal Aviation Administration and Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines said they’re dealing with worse weather conditions than expected.
