Across Alabama, high school basketball regionals are tipping off Tuesday. The games get started at four locations around the state, Wallace State in Hanceville, Pete Matthews Coliseum in Jacksonville and Garrett Coliseum and Alabama State in Montgomery.

Class 7A girls and boys teams will take the floor at three of the four AHSAA regional sites today. The Northwest, Central and South Regions will host 7A semifinals. Class 5A girls and boys will be playing their semifinals in the Northeast. The Class 3A regional finals will close the afternoon in the Northwest.

The 2025 AHSAA basketball season has reached regionals. Regionals will take place between Tuesday through Feb. 20 in four different locations: Montgomery (Garrett Coliseum and Alabama State), Jacksonville and Hanceville. Winners and runners-up from regionals advance to the AHSAA state basketball tournament Feb. 24-March 1 at the BJCC.
