Cross Lake is home to a diverse population of fish, including largemouth bass, spotted bass, flathead catfish, blue catfish, black crappie, white crappie, bluegill, sunfish and striped bass.

The trap marking rule changes will expand on trap and net marking rules that are already in place, and will be effective on October 20, 2024.
