A new leak has revealed several previously unknown camera enhancements that could debut on the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Likely, several of the S25 Ultra's camera enhancements and AI tools are a result of Samsung's One UI 7 software and Galaxy AI. The former recently entered its second beta, which hauled in fixes for a load of issues that plagued testers early on. The software has been rumored to drop near or alongside the Galaxy S25 this month.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to launch with several upgrades compared to the S24 Ultra, including a sleeker design, a more powerful processor, an enhanced camera system, and the latest Android 15 with OneUI 7.

Samsung doesn’t typically pack new camera hardware into its flagship smartphones every year. The company instead optimizes the same hardware for several years, similar to the approach of the Google Pixel phones.
