David Siguenza and Darius Lind unofficially won New York Supreme Court judgeships in a four-way contest for an eight-county district.
UNION – Monroe County’s courthouse will be closed Friday so three county offices can move back to their newly-renovated quarters. Back on Jan. 11, a fire broke out in the Monroe County Courthouse during renovations, said County Clerk Jeremy Meadows.
There are four candidates vying for two seats on the Monroe County Court of Common Pleas. The two seats became open when judges Margherita Patti-Worthington and Arthur Zulick announced their
Janet Jackson and Patrick Best have been elected Monroe County Court of Common Pleas judges. Democrats Jackson and Best won with 22,075 and 17,844 votes, respectively, according to unofficial results reflecting mail-in and absentee ballots and Election Day votes in all precincts.
This Election Day, county clerk races are on the ballot across New York. In Broome County, voters will head to the polls to select their county clerk Tuesday. Democrat Nick Libous and Republican Aaron Martin are vying for the role.
