The veteran funk and soul Oakland, California band Tower of Power will bring music from its first Christmas album to a live concert Saturday at Golden Nugget Atlantic City.

Universal Preservation Hall in Saratoga Springs will be hosting a performance with funk and soul veterans Tower of Power.

That’s what happened at the Uptown Theatre as 10 members of Tower of Power performed some of their greatest hits during its 43-year history that began in Oakland.
