The Virginia Employment Commission (VEC) has announced that its pandemic-related unemployment backlogs have been cleared.

The VEC now expects to be caught up with the backlog of first-level appeals by the end of the state fiscal year on June 30. “We are steadily gaining ground,” Ryan said.
