LSU football’s staff is undergoing several changes before head coach Brian Kelly ’s fourth season. The team parted with six off-field staff members last week, sources told The Advocate, and others accepted jobs elsewhere. These are the first staff changes LSU has made since the end of a 9-4 season.

Brian Kelly has added Grambling special teams coordinator Aman Anand to his LSU staff, as reported by FootballScoop on Wednesday night. LSU lost tight ends coach and special teams coordinator Slade Nagle right after the season as he is now the offensive coordinator at Houston.

The nine wins in his third season leading the Purple and Gold moved Kelly to ninth on the all-time wins list. He was tied for No. 15 with Biff Jones at 20 wins heading into the year then passed out five coaches along the way, including Bill Arnsparger.

In total, Notre Dame has gone 33-9 under Freeman, with wins in the Gator Bowl, Sun Bowl, and three College Football Playoff games. Over that same period, LSU has gone 29-11 under Kelly, and has never reached the CFP.

Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers will have a different look in 2025 with a combination of new players on the roster along with a different support staff. Kelly and Co. have tweaked the coaching staff in a few ways this month with multiple members revealing they will be heading elsewhere for the 2025 season.
