DOVER − The NASCAR Cup Series race at AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400 at Dover Motor Speedway was delayed by rain with 14 laps remaining on July 20. The delay lasted 56 minutes as a storm moved quickly through the area. NASCAR officials set a drop-dead time of 8:10 p.m. because Dover doesn't have lights at the racetrack.
Noah Gragson — Finished 32nd: “ (On what he saw in overtime restart crash) The 20 wrecking. I got on the brakes and then somebody hit me in the back. It was over at that point. I checked up for the wreck and somebody hit me from behind and wrecked us, so that’s what it’s been every race this year. It’s gotten to the point where you just expect it.”

This weekend, NASCAR makes its annual trip to Dover Motor Speedway for the Autotrader Echopark Automotive 400, changing things up from its traditional spring and fall dates to a midsummer visit. It's the first time NASCAR raced at Dover in July since their very first visit to the one mile speedway,
Bubba Wallace continues to hold the final playoff spot, but he saw his advantage expand after Sunday's race at Dover Motor Speedway. Wallace finished seventh at Dover and holds a 16-point lead on Ryan Preece for the final playoff spot. Wallace entered Dover just three points ahead of Preece, who finished 19th Sunday.
Christopher Bell spun for a second time in the NASCAR Dover race. This time, he collected two other drivers late in the running.
