A human skull was found just in the bushes off the Coney Island boardwalk Tuesday evening, cops said. A homeless person spotted the remains just off the beach’s iconic Riegelmann Boardwalk between West 32nd and 33rd streets minutes before 6 p.m. and called 911, authorities and law enforcement sources said.

The study, published in the journal Nature, is based on a years-long examination of a reddish patch of sediment excavated at a site in Barnham.
