U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres has described humanitarian aid cuts by the United States and other countries as “a crime”

The United Nations will do all it can to help prevent food rations being cut for Rohingya refugees in camps in Bangladesh, U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said on Friday during a visit to the world’s largest refugee settlement.

Earlier today, Guterres was also called upon by Foreign Adviser Touhid Hossain and High Representative of the Chief Adviser on Rohingya and Priority Matters, Khalilur Rahman, at Hotel InterContinental. Their meeting further underscored the urgency of resolving the Rohingya crisis and securing international support.
