Fairfield National defeated South Dakota 13-1 to get within one game​ of playing for the U.S. championship in Williamsport.

The clutch hits just keep on coming, and coming, for the Fairfield National Little League team. For the second straight Little League World Series game, the Metro champions came through with clutch hitting to overcome an early deficit to defeat Midwest champion Sioux Falls,

After a win over South Dakota on Monday night, the Fairfield National team continues their run in the Little League World Series. We spoke with the Fairfield community, and they say win or lose, they have the teams’ backs.

The 2025 Little League Baseball World Series continues with the kids from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, facing off with Fairfield, Connecticut, today.

The Summerlin South Little League team kept its winning streak alive and brought home the victory after scoring the game’s only run in the extra inning. On Monday, Aug. 17, Summerlin South defeated Irmo from South Carolina in the Little League World Series.
