Grant Tennille, chairman of the Arkansas Democrat party, will be stepping down in July after nearly four years in the position, with a new chairman to be elected within 60 days.
DPA Chair Grant Tennille has led the party since 2021. Officials will choose a new party leader in the next two months.
Although the 2025 session of the state Legislature ended May 5, local election officials are still trying to determine how some new laws will affect the election process.
