Mughrabi CAIRO (Reuters) -A Hamas official said on Tuesday Israeli hostages can be brought home from Gaza only if a fragile ceasefire is respected, dismissing the "language of threats" after U.S. President Donald Trump said he would "let hell break out" if they were not freed.

Hamas says it will delay the further release of hostages in the Gaza Strip after accusing Israel of violating a fragile ceasefire that now faces its most serious crisis since it began three weeks ago.

Hamas has threatened to postpone the next hostage release scheduled to take place in Gaza on Saturday “until further notice,” accusing Israel of breaking the ceasefire deal.
