With two outs in the bottom of the 7th, Adam Frazier shot a double down the left field line on an 0-2 pitch, which set Jonathan India up to hit a monster, 451-foot two run homer into the second tier of fountains in left field, tying the game at 2.

Royals first. Mike Yastrzemski homers to center field. Bobby Witt walks. Vinnie Pasquantino called out on strikes. Maikel Garcia called out on strikes. Adam Frazier strikes out swinging.

Adam Frazier will have a few familiar faces in the Kansas City Royals’ clubhouse. Frazier, 32, reunites with college teammates Chris Stratton and Hunter Renfroe this season.

The Royals announced that Mark Canha has returned from rehab assignment and has been designated for assignment. The 36-year-old right-handed hitter was originally acquired near the end of spring training from the Brewers for minor league pitcher Cesar Espinal.

Frazier got off to a fast start last season with Pittsburgh, batting .324 with an .836 OPS and 28 doubles in 98 games. He was traded to San Diego in late July and faded over the final two months.
