Brea police arrested school board member Christopher Becerra for allegedly sending sexual messages to a minor.

A Brea Olinda Unified School District board trustee was arrested after Brea police were alerted to an allegation of “inappropriate sexual messages” sent to a child, police said.

Christopher Becerra, 42, a trustee at the Brea Olinda Unified School District, was arrested this week. Investigators are seeking other possible victims.

As investigators believe that there may be more victims, people with information were encouraged to come forward.
