Kyle Tucker has continued to play at an All-Star level this season after leaving Houston and landing with the Cubs in a blockbuster trade.

Chicago Cubs outfielders Pete Crow-Armstrong and Kyle Tucker will be in the starting lineup for the MLB All-Star Game, it was announced Wednesday.

Cubs president of baseball operations Jed Hoyer maintained his stance on keeping contract negotiations out of the public sphere. But on Tuesday he acknowledged the obvious: “At some point” the Cubs will talk with three-time All-Star Kyle Tucker’s agent Casey Close about a possible extension.
