Margarida Corceiro, the girlfriend of newly crowned Formula One world champion Lando Norris, has said their finish-line kiss was not a stunt for the cameras and “made sense” as they celebrated his title triumph.

Max Verstappen takes 1st place in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with Oscar Piastri finishing 12 seconds behind him for 2nd, and Lando Norris rounding out the top 3 spots to clinch the Formula 1 Title.

Lando Norris secured his first Formula One title after finishing third at the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday.

But Norris won the championship by two points over Verstappen and 13 points over Piastri. Norris just needed a podium finish to clinch the title, and he got it. Verstappen won the battle (the race) but lost the war (the championship).
