Rams fall to Falcons, 27-24: Final score, highlights, recap
The Los Angeles Rams dropped their second straight game on Monday night, losing to the Atlanta Falcons, 27-24. They nearly completed a 21-point second-half comeback, but they fell short after allowing a 51-yard game-winning field goal in the final seconds.
The Los Angeles Rams dropped a near must-win game in Atlanta, as the Falcons drop the Rams into the sixth seed in the NFC.
Bijan Robinson rushed for 195 yards, including a 93-yard touchdown, and Zane Gonzalez kicked a 51-yard field goal with 21 seconds remaining as the Falcons recovered after blowing two 21-point leads.
Injuries have taken a toll on the Rams, but that alone doesn't explain their dismal showing against the Atlanta Falcons with the postseason fast approaching.
With the No. 1 seed in sight, the Rams have now lost two-straight games, first to the Seattle Seahawks last week then to the Atlanta Falcons on Monday night. That will knock the Rams out of the NFC West title chase, but Los Angeles is still headed to the playoffs as a wild card.
