CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Powerball jackpot is now the largest it’s been this year, reaching $605 million for the drawing on Monday, Aug. 18, 2025. The largest jackpot this year was a $526.5 million prize won March 29 in California. The Saturday, Aug. 16 numbers are 23-40-49-65-69 Powerball 23 Power Play 3x.
The Powerball jackpot has reached $700 million, with no big winner in the latest draw. Two Ohioans won $100,000 each, and over 33,000 Ohioans won smaller prizes. The next drawing is Saturday, Aug. 23.

According to Ohio Lottery documents, two tickets matched four out of five numbers to win $50,000, plus the Power Play, which doubles the winnings.
But it’s the Saturday, Aug. 23 Powerball jackpot that’s raising eyebrows, currently estimated at $700 million. That total likely will go higher before the drawing because of increased ticket sales. The Classic Lotto jackpot is $6.9 million for Saturday’s drawing.

More than 610,000 other Powerball tickets sold in the United States also won prizes ranging from $4 to $1 million, the lottery said.
