The Buckley Draw Fire broke out on the mountainside south of Slate Canyon in Provo around 5 p.m. Sunday and continued to burn into Monday. By Monday afternoon, the fire covered an estimated 400 acres with 0% containment,

A police official said that while "it is exciting to watch the helicopters," crowds make it "extremely difficult" for fire crews.

Provo City officials said it's burning just south of Slate Canyon in Buckley Draw Canyon, and the U.S. Forest Service said it's called the Buckley Draw Fire. As of Sunday night, it was estimated at 400 acres, burning on Forest Service land. Forest Service officials said it's spreading quickly in dry grass and brush.
