Viewers sent in photos and videos from overnight flooding in Northwest Arkansas. The National Weather Service in Tulsa issued a flash flood warning overnight for parts of Benton and Washington County.

"2025 has been the year of the flood," said WPLG-TV meteorologist Michael Lowry in a July 15 email to USA TODAY. "The tragic July 4th flooding in central Texas – the deadliest flash flood in at least 50 years in the U.S. – punctuated what’s been an especially bad year for flooding across the country."

Camp Mystic's executive director began evacuating campers approximately 45 minutes after the National Weather Service issued a "life-threatening flash flooding" alert.

Flood Watch issued by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington due to excessive rainfall, with potential flash flooding in DC, MD, VA, and WV. Heavy showers expected; weekly forecast includes thunderstorms and high humidity.
