SAN DIEGO (AP) — Nestor Cortes took a perfect game into the sixth inning and combined with three relievers on a two-hitter as the San Diego Padres reclaimed the NL West lead with a 5-1 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday night.

Nestor Cortes allowed just one hit over six shutout innings Saturday night and Ramon Laureano knocked in two runs to lift the San Diego Padres to a 5-1 win over the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers to move back into first place in the National League West.

The single by O’Hearn was the first hit allowed by Glasnow. Bogaerts was followed by Gavin Sheets, who lined out to first base. Ramon Laureano delivered a one-out, two-run single to right-center field to give the Padres a 2-0 lead.
