Despite the impressive number, it still doesn’t crack the top 10 for largest Powerball jackpots in history. The largest was a $2.04 billion prize won in California in November 2022.

LORAIN, Ohio (WJW) — A very lucky person in northeast Ohio could be holding a Powerball ticket worth $100,000. This is Ohio’s second $100,000 Powerball win in less than a week! In addition, Monday’s Powerball drawing turned out two $50,000 wins, also sold in the Buckeye State.
While there is no shortage of partial Powerball prizes sold in Ohio, like the $1 million ticket sold Aug. 6 at a Seville Circle K, records show that only a handful of winning tickets for full jackpots have been sold here. This includes a hefty cash prize sold in 2024 that remains unclaimed.
The Ohio Lottery says a winning $100,000 Powerball ticket was sold at Gonzalez Grocery in Lorain. Here is the full list of statewide winners and their prizes from Monday's drawing:
