You follow a light from right to left whilst concentrating on an image from a traumatic experience. The idea behind this is that eye movements require energy from the working memory. By following the light and thinking about something that gives you stress, the emotional loading of the memory changes. It’s a great and effective method for decreasing trauma triggers. T
