Telling the Matilda story. At a character workshop for Matilda the Musical, the cast drew a map of Matilda’s world on the stage with chalk, making links to all parts of Matilda’s story. They then narrated the story to clarify their understanding of the complex and interconnected elements of Tim Minchin’s clever interpretation of Roald Dahl’s book, Matilda.
