Is that sculpture moving? 👀 The answer is yes! Robert Breer’s “Osaka I” moves approximately 2.5 feet per minute, thanks to a battery-driven motor and four rubber tires beneath its steel chassis. That’s about 0.68 miles per day. Breer referred to his moving sculptures as “floats.” When the sculpture bumps into something or someone, it doesn’t continue on the path it started out on, but instead slightly pivots to a new one.
