Lawrenny Woods lies within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park on a peninsula of the River Cleddau estuary. The woodland forms part of a scenic landscape where the Cleddau branches into the Cresswell and Carew rivers, creating a setting of tidal creeks and wooded slopes that has remained largely unspoiled for centuries. The area is part of the broader Milford Haven Waterway Site of Special Scientific Interest, recognised for its ecological and landscape importance. Ecologically, Lawrenny Woods
