Come along for a chase of two former Erie Lackwanna SD45-2s on August 2, 2013. Through the Conrail split, these two particular locomotives went to different owners. However, with their Conrail Shared Assets assignment to Oak Island Yard in northern New Jersey, they've remained in close quarters. The 1701 is still classed by Norfolk Southern as an SD45-2, while the 8886 is classed by CSX as an SD40-2. We'll see them both on train WPOI-16 at Port Reading, Carteret, Perth Amboy and Sayreville. #tra
