Kororā rescue with Napier Port We recently helped out a kororā / little penguin that was bought into us after becoming caught in a fishing net. After a vet check, rehydration and food this little penguin was ready to be released to the wild within 48 hours of arrival at National Aquarium. A reminder to call Department of Conservation on 0800 DOCHOT (0800 362 468) in the first instance for any conservation emergencies. Our keepers named this penguin Annette – can you guess why?
